[Text on screen Giving feels good.] [Acoustic guitar music] Joy Bauman: when people think of 4H, they generally think of kids taking animals to their county fair. But 4H is so much more than that. There are so many opportunities for kids in 4H, with more than 200 different projects they can take. And so, 4H has done so much for me growing up and for my family, [Text highlighted on screen 2016 Teen Hall of Fame Emily Bauman, Adams County] Joy Bauman: My own kids. [Text highlighted on screen Spencer Bauman, Adams County] Joy Bauman: And, the skills that they learned to set them up for a lifetime of success is so important. And that's why I choose to go back to 4H. I am a Buckeye, as a student, alumni, and now as an OSU employee. And so giving back to Ohio State is a natural thing to do. Specifically to the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences and to the 4H program. [Music continues] Joy Bauman: We're continually asking folks to support Ohio State, and so as employees of the university, I think that is a good reflection when we're willing to invest our own dollars into the programs that we work in.
